Question Will FRC's negate the effect of Firehawk hood?

The heat extractor ports are above the exhaust manifolds on eigther side of the engine bay. If I put FRC's on wont that trap a lot of the hot air that would normally rise out of those ports? I want to keep that feature, but if anyone thinks that it'll be the same I'd like to start project "engine dress-up" I have the SLP strut tower brace, will I be able to use any FRC? I heard that my brace wont fit any cover. Any advice?

What? Keep reading and looking. The FRC's are just dumb little plastic pieces that extend from intake to just past the outside of your valvecover.

It still hangs over a bit and traps SOME heat. Does anyone know about the tower brace?

"Dumb little plastic pieces"?!? Sweet, ..., Good to hear your opinion, ...

SLP STB, ..., No it will not work well with FRC's. They will rub on the underside of the SLP type STB. BMR works, Hotchkiss works, ...

Been there, Done that, ..., Talking from experience.

And In MY opinion, FRC's are not necessarily dumb. I think they are a very nice dress-up item!

I think they are the coolest "dumb" product made-- besides the STS turbo Is there any chance in hell of getting a set to fit using the SLP brace? Thanks for the replies.

Will not work with SLP STB, works with all others that I am aware of. By the way, those "dumb little pieces or plastic" bought me a new Suburban!!

Thanks

Damn!! so there's no way around getting a new brace. I guess since I"ll be buying a polisher any way I can polish the valve covers and relocate the packs and not worry about the frcs. Thanks for the replies !

Here is a recent pic of the frc's under the BMR extreme strut bar.
These are real carbon fiber, no problem with heat.
