hey guys, after a little fender-bender, my z28 had to go to the body shop. While it was there I had them install an "ss" bumper insert and paint it red to match the car, now I need some advice on what to put in the middle of the insert. My car is not an ss so I really don't want to put that emblem on there, but I need help figuring out what would look kick-*** in that spot. I have a goldish colored chevy emblem I was going to put there, but I thought you guys would have a better idea.

are you talking about the SS front grille?
if so, just put a Z/28 emblem there, or bowtie

what other color then? remember the insert is red...
I haven't found an all black bowtie yet, any ideas?

I would prefer an actual emblem, I'm trying to stay away from using a decal.

Stay away from the gold... but a bowtie would look nice painted black.

i would go for the black bowtie... or maybe white? depends on your car's color schema... if you're basically stock in terms of external mods then you can't go wrong with a black one..... or if you're really artistic tape off the whole bumper with the outline of a vintage Z/28 emblem and paint the emblem outline part black... could look pretty good... just thinkin of ideas

I was gonna suggest painting your gold one black also. If not a older Z28 emblem would look nice too.
