Default gauges in trans am a/c vents

anybody have any pics i ripped mine out trying to put in a air fuel gauge, come to find out the gauge is to small for the a/c vent. anybody have any ideas anybody done theres

I believe Brent Franker on www.cz28.com has a how to guide on this. I installed a TA dash in my car and the guy i got it from had installed a few gauges in the vents. He had just pushed them in. He didn't have to do any modifcations or butchering to the vent hole. Thats about all i can tell you about it though.

you have to use the 2 5/8" gauges the 2 1/16"(i think) are too small

do a search, i installed 2 1/16 gauges in the vents, pics in my web site as well
very easy to do

2 5/8" in the AC vent, 2 1/16" in the pillar

I did 2 1/16 guages in the center vents. Check webshots site (Heatwave or interior photobook I think) for pics...
