i just purchased the porter cable 7336SP which is the same as the 7424. i am going to need to order some pads and polish and wax and was wondering where you guys order them. i heard that i need to get a back plate and want to know what it is for. whats some of the polishers and waxes you guys use with you pc. also is Menzerna a good product to go with when waxing and polishing with the pc.

Try this if I did it wright it should take you to Autotopia. The backing plate is a hook and loop system the backing plate screws down into the polisher and the pads stick to it. The backing plate just holds your pads.

I use lots of different products. Everyone has their favorites, but most of it is just personal preference.

I use and like Lake Country and Sonus pads.

I use and like Menzerna, Einszett, and Poorboy's polishes.

I use Zaino as my primary sealant, but also use Klasse AIO, Wolfgang, NXT, etc.

I sometimes use S100, Pinnacle, etc. as carnauba wax toppers.
