pc 7336 starter kit. Does this sound good?
OK i was given a pc 7336 s/p for X-mas and now that the weather is starting to clear up i am about to order my pads/polishes. I have read like crazy all of the previous threads and the sticky up top and i think i know what i am going to get. How does this sound?
Pads-
1)Sonus Pad Kit
http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-daspad-kit.html
5” Flexible backing plate, orange pad, green pad, blue pad, and wool pad
Try to substitute 2 white sonus pads for green and wool pads
2)Microfinger pad
http://www.properautocare.com/6mifipa.html
Polishes-
1)Menzerna IP
2)Menzerna FPII
3)Menzerna Finishing glaze
3)Zaino Z2

The Menzerna stuff sounds good. Though I might substitute the finishing glaze with Klasse AIO, users seem to rave about it. I am trying it this spring. Make sure the finish glaze doesn't have any oils or the Zaino won't work, I know IP and FP don't have oils.
As for the pads, I would get the DAS kit and pick up an extra orange and green pad. That should be sufficient.
Also don't forget, when checking out at Autopia, use discount code "ABC" for a 15% savings
If you decide on the Klasse, Autopia has it for a great price plus the discount.

dont i need some white pads also for the glaze. I was going to use the orange pad for the IP, blue pad for the FPII, and the white pad for the glaze. Does this sound right?Or what can i substitute?

Orange pad for the IP
Green pad for the IP also
Green pad for the FP
Blue pad for the glaze
Thats the route I am taking once the weather comes around, except with Poorboys products

IMO, the green pad is a bit agressive for FP2.
If I were buying a starter kit with Sonus pads, I would buy:
Orange pad with Intensive Polsih
White pad with Final Polish II
White or Blue pad with glaze
Apply the Zaino by hand, then you can buff it off with the polisher, if you really want to. I usually buff Zaino by hand because it comes off pretty easily. Finish with some Z6 to enhance shine even more. Don't forget to get some good microfiber towels!
Happy polishing.

Don't forget some ZFX with the Z2 Pro....Some say you don't need it, but more say to use it.....
If your placing a Zaino order, you might as well throw in a few bottles of Z6, thats some awesome stuff....and if you don't mind a few extra dollars their leather conditioner is supposed to be great. I've used most Zaino products and I think their awesome, I just had my girlfriend stock me up for valentines day
