after removing SS badges, can you reinstall?

Yes you can they sell some emblem tape at dimmicks that you push the emblem down on, and pell it up and only the tape is left in the shape of the emblem. I cant remember what its called but its clear and its the same thing they use to install th e factory SS emblems.
