Default how to roll fender lips

How do you roll fender lips on a camaro to fit the zr1 wheels under there if the car is lowered? Does anyone have any pictures of the fender well/lip before and after?

I dropped the money on a fender roller from eastwood. It worked great and it didn't hurt the paint or the fender. It was well worth the money

i understand what other people do, i just dont understand the process. But what exactly is it? What gets rolled? What does it look like afterwards? Ive tried the search but only found posts on rolling them or beating them, but no procedures.

Its the part of the fender that folds in and edge faces the tire. When you roll it you are really just bending it up so the tire won't contact it. I'll get a picture of mine but its rolled and I don't have a before picture. As for the procedures... There really isn't anything written down on the boards. Fulton1 (I think thats his sn) has one for rent and he has a before and after pic on a thread that he made. I'll find it.

Yeah, I'm curious if these "cheaper" methods produce acceptable results?

I did mine with a louisville slugger. I got 2 of my buddies to sit in the hatch, and i just rolled the handle end of the bat back and forth. Ive got it up about 80* No buckling the fender or anything. To me the fender roller is a waste of money. I did mine with the bat and it worked, and nothing went wrong.
