Looks great.
I need to get a PC. My car has so many scratches that show up in the sunlight.

My top three detailing items are:

1. Porter Cable polisher
2. Micro Fiber towels
3. A water softener for my hard water, eliminates the concerns about water spots when washing the car.

Your car looks fabulous. Makes me jealous knowing no matter how much prep work and effort I put into my pewter paint, it will never look that good. Oh well.

Very nice job! I haven't seen NBM look that good in a long time. How much are those Porter Cable polishers, and where did you get it?

Sorry for the ignorance, but what are Menzerna twins applied with the 7424 and a Porter Cable, I assume some kind of buffer, but not for sure.

The Menzerna twins are two polishes made by Menzerna (Intense Polish and Final Polish, I believe).

Porter Cable 7424 is a random orbit sander/polisher that everyone has used with amazing results. This page should be helpful:

Like I said, the PC, with a water softener (that's all the Mr. Clean autodry is), and micro fiber towels makes cleaning a car soooo much easier with far better results than not having those three.

Thanks for the link Lawman!

Hey Blu Beast, will you run through the steps in order for us novices. And by Z2 I assume you are talking about Zaino? It's all I have ever used for my car. I assume you used the Menzerna in conjunction with Z. Also, where are you guys getting this Menzerna, never heard of it. Is it a two stage product similar to Zaino? I have a black car and the swirls in the hood and spoiler are driving me crazy!

Tony, you can get a PC at Lowe's for $99. I recommend buying some good pads, polishes, and towels to go with them. It's about $200 to get started, but those supplies will last a long time.

I use Lake Country pads, Menzerna and Poorboy's polishes, and Pak Shak towels.
