I wanted Stainless as well, but I got the black urethane ones for free and i like em more. Then again If i had a black car i would def. gone with the Stainless

SSinserts has the stainless ones. Afterthoughts auto has stainless as well, and a bunch of different color urethane ones.

 

I dont have pics, but I have a black Z28 and actually put the black inserts in. Looks pretty cool, it is just a little lighter black than the car. You can really see them at night when they reflect with headlights. 2 cents.

 

Speaking of reflection, that's the exact reason I didn't get the stainless ones. The friggin fairfax county cops look for enough on my car already to pull me over. Don't need that extra attention, especially if the cop's behind me.

MBA and Afterthoughts Auto both have stainless inserts, they are expensive though, but well worth the looks

This was what I was thinking of doing just because the letters get dirty and are hard to keep clean. Is there any way you could get some pics?

 

I think the stainless letters look good on black & NBM. On my pewter car I like the black inserts. Got my rear vinyl letters off of e-bay.

 

i havent seen this one in any pics, i asked for red and recieved this one. didn't like it at first but it's different and has grown on me so thats why it's still there.

 

do any of you guys with the thin vinyl letters have some tips on how to put them on? I tried once but they are so damn flimsy it is hard to line them up coorectly.

are the electropolished ones from mbaproducts worth it or do you have to get the high polished ones? any pics of the electropolished?
