Don't buy blackouts. Get the VHT Tint Spray in a can. You can make them however dark you want, and it looks way better than those ugly plastic covers. Jeg's should have it.

I bought my AVS Blackouts from Lappens (New England auto chain) for $40. PepBoys and AutoZone also have them. Camaro blackouts are sually there on the shelf, but you have to ask them to order in the Firebird ones...there is not extra charge, it just takes 3 days.

Watchout, many places online are ripping people off selling them at $50-$60. I dont know how they get away with it, but they do.

This is one of the rare instances where it is cheaper to buy at a physical store than online.

I had them on my camaro, looked good, but they really aren't that bright after you put them on. Possibilities of getting rear ended are a lot greater!

The taillight melting issue seems to only affect Camaros.

My blackouts have been on my Formula for 3 years without any melting issues.

What exhaust tips are those, they look awesome! They look like Corsa? The car does too! Makes me want to get blackouts for mine now that I see a good pic of what it looks like on a black car.

I bought mine on ebay. I have been pulled over specifically for having the black outs on but the cop was pretty cool about it. I just took them off and he let me go. I painted my side marker lights though and the paint just wares off too fast. I would not go that route.

You cant even really tell a difference in the light at night, and the cops have never bugged me about it. The tips are Corsa, you can buy them from afterthoughts auto. And yes, they pull up in the computer at autozone without having to search the vendor catalogues.
