I got my headunit from canadia (yes CANADIA) and i must say, its pretty good quality, there seems to be some fitment issues, one side sticks out a little and im going to have to file it down, also, i had to cut off this part in the back cause it was blocking the deck from going in but, after everything was done, it doesnt look too shabby, combined with my brushed aluminum Hvac control panel. i think it looks rather nice, ...
but there is one issue i need your guys help with... the top panel is slightly brighter than the lower panel... when they are side to side (and the pictures dont show this very well) the bottom panel looks darker than the top and it doesnt give me that nice flowing aluminum look, they look like two peices which they are, but i want them both to have the same shade, any ideas on how to make the top one darker looking? maybe its not anodized?? it scratches easily as well, it scratched from the freaking plastic part. im thinking it isnt anodized? but also, maybe the sanding was finer and not as low of grit than the bottom, any ideas? thanks!

thanks everyone, i actually took to it with some old polish i found in my dads basement, made both peices look almost completely the same, and shined them up, not too chrome looking but still not dull either. very very nice i am loving it. had to do some minor work to get them to fit, cutting and adding material to one side to make it level, but that was all really, be prepared to solder with the lights though, they are VERY thin wire and my strippers didnt even have a size close to the smallness, i just got all of the wire tips into one giant solderball lol... and taped that up. anyways. i am happy now!

when you look on their site it has an option for illumination and then lettering option. is the added five dollars for the lettering option only if you want custom lettering or is that for the regular lettering such as firebird or trans am to.
