Default Engine Bay pics

I said I would post some pics of my FRCs and my STB once I got them on. Sorry the engine bay is dirty, its been raining and I haven't had a chance to clean it up just yet

I still have a lot more planned but I just haven't had the time to take care of it all yet

What does FRC stand for? When I think FRC I think fixed roof coupe, as in a C5 Corvette.

Those FRCs look phenomenal. Is that real cf? It sure looks real. Nice job. You have some spots on your A/C condensor, though.

Its not wire loom its an insulation for wire and fuel lines. It is pretty much the same thing as the tape that comes on the fuel lines. I have the tape but I wanted to see how it looked

Yes its real cf, and like I said the engine is dirty there are spots on my STB too but you can't see them as well.

My pic is a little small.

Xtincthawk When I saw yours I knew I wanted a set of carbon fiber covers. I guess I copied you. The only problem is now I want my battery cover in red cf but I got it in the black cf. I want to cover my lid to match next but I'm worried about messing it up.

ncSSu: I had a link to a place that does some custom cf covering. I've never used them but I found them a while back. When I get home I'll look around for it and PM you the links

I was just funnin' with ya man! I shipped my desktop back to the states. It has all my engine pics on it. Here's one I took last year, but now the valve covers are polished, the fuel rail is polished, the power steering is gone, and the intake manifold is now a silverish color.

Looks good Jack. I knew you were messing with me. I was just kidding with you too. Once you get to houston you are going to get the moding bug bad. There are a ton of nice/fast cars down there.

Nice looking engine!!! I have a tip though. You should paint the valve covers red to match the tb and maf ends. It would tie the look together. JMO

I already have it (the mod bug, that is), but is it true the minimum hp rating to join a club in Texas is 500?
