It was kind of a pain here, too...but the 40 grit made quick work of it!

The Wilson came off nicely, the FAST has proven to be more of a challenge, though...it's a work in progress.

i kept FAST. I used a file to take off most of Wilson. A factory intake would of been much easier to sand down. It will be worth the trouble for the bling

I had a Black Z28, sold it to a local guy, who sold it to another local guy. It ran low 12's. I should of kept it so the wife could have something to play with, since she doesn't know how to drive a manual tranny.

Derek, I'm going to try to make it to a mofbody event this summer.

I had thought about sanding the Wilson part off, but decided that it wasn't worth the hassle. It doesn't stand out as much with the new paint job.

Damnit, you beat me too it. I sent mine off to Futral to be port matched today and when it comes back it's getting that exact paint job, goes with my silver/black FRC's. What color silver did you use? Looks badass by the way!!

It is WA9566(GM code), which is the color of my TA. I used Autobase Plus paint and Auto Clear III. It was baked on in a booth too.

That looks great man. If (or should say when) i get mine I'm gonna go with either silver to match the car color or kinda flat/semi gloss black. Anyone ever paint one black with letters sanded off? Try to match the stock color?
