Hehe..Yeah, that looks good but I have seen many cars at most every show with just about the same setup. Think it would better if you could do 2 colors of CF one on the intake and one on the rails..JMO. And if you want to try the Full cover go here its cheaper, and the one I ended up getting. There not a sponsor, but should be I have already beat them across the brow about it......lol

Not trying to hijack the thread with all my posts, but I'm really digging this color setup, too bad it won't go with my color scheme.

I agree that 2 colors are better. I actually used 3 counting the silver intake

BEAUTIFUL!!! Do you plan on shrouding the altenator and the brake resv. as well?

That's the look I am going for, very nice. The rest of the covers on stuff will be Purple CF, The grey CF Engine cover, and all the lines that are still visible are Chrome or silver wrapped.

I am soooo happy took the car out of the garage today for the first time in 5 months. Man I do miss driving her in the winter.

Will it cause any problems to trim the pieces or do you just sand the edges smooth again like if it was fiberglass? I'm planning to use the intake cover pictured below and don't want to worry about fraying or anything down the road. Piece will probably only stay on for shows and stuff.

No kidding. Until this thread was started, I had no idea about any of them. I think it'll be great and make the car look extra since I've seen most of the cars around here that show. To my knowledge, no one around here has them and I could use something really original to catch the eye of the judges.

Covering the engine, hiding wires, shaving this and that -just sux. In the words of Indian Larry "I want to see the mechanicalness of it..."

Fuel rail covers, now they look ok. But one great big fuggin cover looks crappy. Of course, I am not one who likes all these bikes you see on TV, or hotrods where everything is melting all over each other. With stupid names like Slikster. Forget that, give me a chop top, no fenders, no hood, small block, 4 speed, with side pipes, now thats a machine

Maybe I'll get some one day when I have a lot of extra cash sitting around. I'm thinking that a nice blue color for the rail covers and a CF color center cap would complement my blue exterior.
