Possible marker light mod? Need opinions

Possible marker light mod? Need opinions I made a template to paint my existing side marker lights to match the tail light pattern on my trans am. Its this which will cost about 5.00 to do or clear corners (which i dont know how they would look on a red Fbody) for 100.00 from afterthoughts. Or I could black them out with VHT nightshades. Let me know what you all think. May look cool and may look like petrified poopy!! Keep in mind this is a rough example I did in photoshop to visualize.

Verdad Gallardo I sold my digi cam to a buddy of mine. I'll try to borrow it from him. I painted them really dark. From far away you can't even see them on there. I actually had to pick up a set of stockers to pass inspection.
i think it could look cool, depending on how well you do on the paint. clear corners dont cost $100 by the way. go to ebay and get them for $30. even look for the tinted ones like i have, they look sweet.
