Taillamp Rear End Panel Help

Taillamp Rear End Panel Help How do you take off the "trans am" and the "bird" sticker from the taillamp rear end panel? I tried using a razor and soapy water but its scratching? In the the march issue of GM high performance pontiac, a 2002 sunset orange ws-6 did this and looked super clean. They just didnt say how to do it? Any suggestions? thanks

It's painted on there...it isn't a sticker. I used the collector's edition TA rear panel and it looks much better than the stock one. Some guys use rubbing compound or something and polish up the stock one so that it's just black but I think the CETA one looks better.
finger nail polish remover takes the painted bird off. This will leave the black plastic very cloudy and hazed though. Then you need a power buffer and some car wax to make it shiny again.
OR, just purchase a new part for $60 that came on any 95-97 Formula. They were all black on the LT1 Formulas.

Mother's Plastic Polish - polish the hell out of it
Voila.
Mine was turning pink so it had to go. Here's a pic of how it looks now. IMO leave it blank it looks a lot better.
