Default Windshield tint

I currently have 15-20% tint on all my windows except the windshield. I am thinking about either tinting the whole windshield in 35% or just doing the big dark eyebrow at the top. What do you guys think that I should do?

I have 15% on the windows and rear hatch and went w/ the "sunstrip" vs. the whole windshield.

Ive never heard of anyone tinting the whole windshield and I think that would be a bad idea just asking for trouble, just do the banner.

I'd just doing the banner as well. Like Nvrstsfd23 said, it's just asking for trouble considering it's illegal to tint the entire windshield.

My cousin has 35% on the front windshield of his s10, its not that bad at all actually, even when driving at night. it looks pretty good too with the 20% he has on the sides.

HAHA, you guys have ***** tinting the whole windsheild. i've heard from several reputable sources thats highly illegal. however i'm one to talk, i had 5% all 'round (execpt for the entire windsheild. you might could go for a lighter then 35% on the whole sheild, then like 5% on the strip uptop to give it some contrast and make it seem not as tinted.

Hell Yeah you guys have ***** to tint your whole windshields, I like it though.

I think 12stones' idea is a good one though about the contrasting top strip.

Do the whole windshield. My GFs car is like that. I had 35% put on her front windshield shes driven it for over a year now with out any problems. As soon as I get my car back Im having mine done. It looks really good.. Just dont go any darker than 35%

I wouldn't tint the whole windshield.. 1 accident and you're asking for a lawsuit...

Just got my car tinted on Friday.. 5% all around and a 5% header up front..

What a difference the tint makes.. IMO.

If you put it on the entire windshield, where do you put your inspection and registration stickers? When you change them, you'll tear up the tint. But you guys may not have them on the windshield like we do here in Tx.

I went ahead with the strip today. It looks good but I think the whole windshield might have been better. Oh well, saves me money for some REAL mods!
