I bought my Firehawk used and the previous owner had done that to mine. I hate it personally. My car is red BTW. I really would like to get my hands on a stock set.

I want to do this to mine, the rears are the only ones that are red still, what paint did you use and how did you do it? People say get that Nightshade or ventshade crap that is like a black out spray and do them with that, but it's too pricey. I have black spray paint still, lend a brotha a hand here

Sweet, was the wet sanding before you painted them or after? How many coats did you apply and what grit paper did you use? Are they cracking now that the paint has dried? Thanks!

I used 1500 grit, two coats of paint and two clear no cracking but I just finished. I will polish them out and check em after a week.

I don't like the markers the same color as the car bc I think it looks cheap. So for now its black and when I get the car painted I going to remove them completely and have em filled in.

Raider I don't have any tail covers yet Im still trying to figure out how to eliminate the red on em and I have to get the CE filler for the rear too.
