i just put meguiars step 1-3 on the bird literally over the last 3 days. so when should i try the clay bar? just wash it down and give it a shot? or wait a few washes? (i have no garage either, so it takes some rain abuse as well.) by the way, the car looks amazing man, i love that show car look. so clean and glossy. one of the best ways to show your pride in your ride. ya... that was gay but true. no doubt.

saint, you should use the clay bar before step 1. the clay bar removes tree sap, road stuff etc....., and once done with the clay then follow up with the steps. i would wait a month or 2, clay then the polish which is step 2 followed by step 3 wax. you will get great results. no reason to redo step 1. good luck.
