Default washing a dirty ride

My mom bought a 04 vehicle and took it to the "touchless" carwash for several months now, the problem is once it's clean if you rub your hand along the surface there is a fine dirt or gritty surface that you can feel? How would I go about removing that? Clay bar? Cleaner wax? Thanks in advance for the help!

A piece of clay that is used to remove surface contaminants from your paint's surface. If you've never used one before go outside and pass your finger over your car's finish and it will almost feel like very fine sandpaper. A claybar will take them off and leave your paint with a smooth as silk finish. You can buy these at your local auto parts store.

Yeah, sounds like a claybar and/or paint cleaner would be in order.

Here's some info. on clay for those of you wondering about it: http://autopia-carcare.com/inf-clay.html
