Pics of my semi-completed ls1

Still have some more stuff to do like alternator and the tb but i finally got it together. Hopefully drop it in the chassis tomorow

That look great that blue is very nice... I would spend a Little more time polishing the heads valve covers and TB before you drop it in though its alot easier on a stand

yea the tb is getting ported and also combined with the maf then its getting painted or polished. I will be taking it apart next year for more mods so I will do the block/heads detailing then.

Dam, what color is the intake? That looks so sweet. Was it hard to paint the intake that perfect?

the paint set funny in a few spots...im not sure why but they are completely covered anyways. I just sanded down the intake, got rid of those little circle indentations in the plastic, plastic primed it and shot it with some ppg silver single stage paint. Just wait till I get my ls6 intake and really spend some time wetsanding etc...
