Need help detailing paint
Dawn wash
Claybar
Zaino Z7 wash
Menzerna twins w/ pc
Zaino Z7 wash
3 coats of Zaino Z2pro and Z6 detailing spray
Zaino Z8 detailing spray
Carnuba Wax?
If anybody has better product suggestions for the finish that I am looking for dont hesitate to recommend them. All I have as of right now is the Zaino stuff. I am supposed to use a carnuba wax last right? I have no idea of what brand of carnuba wax to use so please suggest one. Thanks
Dawn wash - I'm not a big fan of washing the car with Dawn. A regular wash will work fine here, because the claybar will take care of old wax and dirt.
Claybar - Use plenty of detailing spray/soap lubricant.
Zaino Z7 wash - No problems here.
Menzerna twins w/ pc - Assuming orange pad for IP and white pad for FP2.
Zaino Z7 wash - Not necessary. Zaino can be applied directly on the polish.
Glaze - A good glaze will add depth and brilliance to your paint. 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze or either Meguiars #3 or #7 are excellent choices. Apply with the PC and a red or black pad. Remember, a little goes a long way!
3 coats of Zaino Z2pro and Z6 detailing spray - Assuming you mean Z2pro/Z6, Z2pro/Z6, Z2pro/Z6 layers. No problems here.
Zaino Z8 detailing spray - Haven't used it, but I hear good things.
Carnuba Wax - Not necessary, but never hurts. I've used Meguiars #26 with good results.

These are the closest pics I have and although they arent very close it might give you an idea. I would probably rate paint a 7or8 outta 10.
What does the glaze do? Does it leave anything on the paint because I thought that Zaino had to be applied directly to the paint so it could bond properly? And yes the way you wrote the z2pro and z6 is what I meant. Might go with six coats for more shine and protection as I will be doing this over a weeks time span.

Also if you want you can throw a sealant glaze on there. It will give everything a deep solid shine. That goes on before any wax or zaino. You need however 24 hours in a dust free area, any garage will really work as long as its not outside. Then apply all ur waxes and ish over that.
Another helpful tip is to apply in thin light coats and then u could hit it with a buffer for utlra smooth feel. good luck and post some pics.

You can put any wax you want over Zaino. It'll work fine, and it'll most likely increase the depth, but reduce the mirror reflections. Zaino isn't a polish, zaino is a sealant.
"Sealant glaze" isn't a real term. That's the name of Klasse's final step sealant. Putting a glaze on will slightly improve the depth and gloss of the look, but Zaino probably won't bond over one due to the oils in them. You don't need 24 hours at all, either. You can top a glaze immediately after it's removed. They generally work just like waxes.
Light coats, yes. But removing with a buffer won't change anything.
