Default How do you remove wax from plastic and vinyl?

I tried many ways. Many plastic and vinyl products, windex, quick detailer, and others I preffer not to mention. Can anyone help? I like to be thurough when I wax, but the effect is wax where it should not be.

Thanks

peanut butter
Are you serious ?!? I have the same problem and have used everything from Armor All to stuff like Dawn (just on the plastic) and it still shows up, but if this is true I'll slather peanut butter all over the damn truck. Probably will attract squirrels though.

The trick is the oil in the peanut butter.
Be sure to use "creamy" NOT chunky.......
Just apply a small dab to the trim and let it set for 10 minutes (in the shade) then wipe off and dress with your favorite trim dressing.

I also use Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care.
OR use a wax that doesnt stain the rubber. Like P21S, Pinnacle, NXT Etc.

I've used peanut butter too. Works great! Just use a very liberal amount.

I wish I had taken some pictures of my DD mirror's before, they were all faded and still had shoe polish from the wedding last summer, and they shine now like they were just painted.
