Ditto's here... that SLP hood looks like $hit in person... Almost as if they designed the hood without ever actually putting on the car... I personally think its a hood they wanted to use on firehawks and decided they were too ugly at the last minute
but hey, thats just my opinion.

I'm shocked the numbers are so close at the top... I wonder if the options had been clearly titled... like WS6 hood instead of hood 1... if the poll would have came out differently? what do you guys think?

I think this poll is kind of useless. I say get whatever you like.
I plan to make my own out of a stock hood. It will be a cross between the Mecham (front portion) and the Firehawk (rear portion). Or think of a Mecham without the heat extractors. It's going to be a wierd hybrid. Never been seen before. If folks don't like it too bad. I'm shaping it myself into something I like.

Forget Mecham, total junk. But not for much longer. Rex at ASCD has my Mecham hood now, and soon there will be a respectable quality to that design. In the meantime, here's what you get when you buy from fraud Mecham...

Just my way of futher undermining anything Mecham has to offer.

I'm not a huge fan of the H.O. hoods. I just dont' think combining the style of the WS-6 with the inlets of the Raptor look that good. I've seen it on a formie in person and it was very blah to me

[QUOTE=fa18007] My VFN hood was the same way man. I didn't like that at all. Now, I have a US Exotics WS9 Outlaw hood. It rocks!!! Althought thhe grooves were also poorly made. Its okay though, I shaved them off.

Not True. I had an ASCD WS6 hood. It slopes gradually from the nostrils all the way to the edge. This can be seen on the rear of the hood near the windsheild. Look at one head on and you will see what I mean. Also, the groves around the nostril openings are not very deep and poorly copied. That is why I got rid of my ASCD hood and I am getting an OEM one. If not OEM, I would say the US exotics is the next closest thing as far as being accurate to OEM.

SLP's Ram Air H.O. is just FUGLY. The OEM Ram Air hood fits the car perfect. But the best looking hood for the TA by far is the Raptor Ram Air Hood. www.gadgetmotorsports.com
