I want to get hockey's done on my 99Z.. was thinking vinyl (pro install most likely), but does anyone know how much it is to get them painted on? I'd like that much better.

painted always looks better, but sometimes it is nice to use the vinyl b/c you can remove it when you get tired of it. but mine was a major PITA as well. just wetting the hood and decal isnt nearly enough, you need to apply some sort of heat to shrink the vinyl on the curves so that it will tighten up. otherwise the creases just wont go away.

I did the stinger decal for a buddy. Damn it was a major BITCH around the curve of the scoop. And the tips kept wanting to stretch.

I'm going to have a black one painted on. If you saw a photo of BlaSSt's rear trunk and spoiler, you would know why. Can't do what he did with vinyl decals.
