I think either can be made to look good. My Z28, which is bone stock stripper on the outside, is somewhat ugly IMO.

"A Camaro SS looks like it can kick your a."
"A Trans Am Ws6 looks like it is coming over to do IT!!!"

That quote is true, but it just shows that the SS knows what it can do and doesn't have to prove it! Apparently the WS6 feels like it has to come over to prove itself.

Im just kidding, both are amazing muscle cars, with the same performance. It's pretty much a win-win situation. Personally i go with the SS, i love the looks and the wing, and the interior and stereo is better in my opinion. Plus i dont like how the gauges and stereo are red in the WS6.

ya from a drivers view, i cannot stand the gauges in the pontiac cars they seem unclear when compared to the tach/speedometer in the camaros IMO

Change them then! I do agree, the camaro gauges ARE easier to read the speed due to all the extra hash marks... But also makes it kinda cluttered. After having both gauges in my present car, my instincts tell me I like the T/A gauges better, but that could in part that I've owned one for the past 5 years too.

I personally love the gauges of the T/A. especially the red. The T/A's interior looks better overal to me as well.

Heres a shot of my T/a and LS1Kid's Z, both just nice cars for real. Im partial to the T/a... hence why I got one. If you're goin for mean get a bird, if your lookin for clean n sleek, snag a camaro. IMO. But both goregous cars, alot of nice pix posted up on this thread.

These are before I got my bird on the front with black overlays and what not. So theyre stock for stock. (minus the bird cover) Good Luck!

I love my Z28. I wanted to get an SS hood and wing for it, but the extra $800 or so for them just didnt seem worth it when I could put it towards something useful like nitrous or exhaust. Seriously, what does an SS hood matter when the other guy spends tons of money making his Z28 try to be an SS when the guy with the stock looking Z gives him a spoon for when he hands him his ***.

Seriously though, I love the looks of my Z28. I'd like a cowl hood and a wing like the SUNOCO car.

What I cant believe is nobody has mentioned a Firebird like the post says. Everyone keeps saying Camaro or T/A. If I could get another F-body it would be a Firebird Formula WS6. all the mean looks of the hood, headlights, and fenders w/o the pontoon boat-like front and rear bumpers and DEFINATELY without the bigass wing

Silver Formula WS6 with black/polished lip ZR1s and duals

I think 20 years from now people are goin to look at the Firebird and T\A just kinda wonder what happened? The styling is kinda over the top. When they look at a Camaro the lines flow better and it will stand out more as a classic. But those are just my 2 cents.

I've always been a fan of the SS (especially the 35th). It's just a shame when you see v6s with body kits and SS hoods driving around. Atleast the emblems are hard as hell to get. I've seen plenty of "v6 saleens" around town.

Both look great.

Theres no winner or loser if you buy a Camaro or Trans Am. Both come out on top.

But for me.. the Trans Am is my love.
