Default Scratch in polished aluminum wheel

Had my Smoothie 2's on less than a week and picked up a scratch...
Does anybody know if you can get rid of the scratch by sanding, grinding, whatever, and then rebuffing to a polish? These are polished aluminum and not clear coated wheels. Man I hope this doesnt happen often.
Thanks

How bad is the scratch? Can you feel it with your finger nail? Try some mothers polish or something. Have fun keeping those bad boys clean

It can most likely be repaired or at least lessened. Have someone do it who knows how to polish metal. You'll have to sand the wheel with several grits and polish away the scratches left behind.

You can wet sand it out but its going to take some work.. I've wet sanded the center cap on one of my wheels to get a scare out of it. Worked well and you can't tell now but it was a pain to get it to shine up after I used the 2000 grit paper. of course I was polishing by hand so that didn't help at all
