That is if I were paying for it, and when I do pay for it, thats what I'll go with. Now if I could pull the engine and shoot the engine bay black to match anything, I'd go with some sort of exotic dark grey (loved that Graphite Grey Metallic on someone's WS6 that posts on here from time to time) or a very, very dark red or HoK Candy Apple Red on a silver base.

I'd go with a darker metallic red, kind of how some of the 99+ Mustang GTs have.

And I'd keep my current setup of wheels and black on the hood.

A nice rich Candy-red or an orange pearl would look awesome. I agree that if you are gonna go to the trouble of painting your car dont go with a factory color. But thats just my 2 cents.

I plan on having my car repainted when it's paid off, but I don't wanna do all one color. I'm thinking about doing a two tone with black and candy brandywine.

Candy Brandywine looks like this (the lighter one)

In this scheme, but NOT yellow and black. Candy brandywine and black would look sick.

i would dig that yellow and black paint scheme myself.

yellow, orange, tangerine, anything citrus. i always liked the ford chrome yellow or the gm millenium yellow.

Factory GM colors:
Bright Purple Metallic. Offered only in 1997 and 1998. Very few cars were painted that color. When waxed, it looks so deep you could go swimming in it.
Maple Red Metallic. One of the best reds GM has ever done. Not to mention also very rare.
Pearl White. The color on a 1990 Seville STS I once had was different than what the new Cadillac pearl white is. Very creamy colored, and a very deep shine. Also not to mention a 1990 STS is very rare, and that color was only avaible on that car.
LeMans blue. Some C5's were painted that color. I also think another rare color to find. Looks like that electron blue, but a shade lighter.
Sunset Orange Metallic. Also very nice, much nicer than the Nissian rip-off.

Non-GM colors:
Ferriari Red. If I were to ever go with a bright red, that would definetly be the shade. Seems much brighter and less orange than the GM red.
Ferriari Yellow. Once again, if I were doing yellow, this would be the shade.
Merecedes Black. Never seen a deeper black offered on a factory car.
Lamboghini(sp?) Tangerine Orange.
Jaguar British Racing Green.

Worst color of all time:
Sport Gold Metallic
