Anybody have or know of any pics of the "nostril" WS6 hood on a camaro?

I'm glad to hear that, I think it looks like crap. I have an idea, how about all us pontiac owners buy a SS hood and mount it up, oh wait it WOULDN'T MATCH THE LINES!

I know what you guys are saying. However I really think with proper vinyl accents, it could look quite inplace on a camaro. For instance racing strips might tie it togather enough to look correct. Or perhaps the ram-air side decals might work. However, just plain one color does seem a bit off. Just look how the hood looks more in place in that second picture with the hockey stripes. If it had matching ram air stripes, it could look pretty bad ***. But of course its not for everyone. Im going to go mount a second spoiler to my z now.... maybe get some of those blinking valve caps. Anyone know how to write camaro in chineese?

Just too much, Camaro's are more subtle, mostly and T/A's are more flair.

If the rise was lower (and possibly gradually raised toward the back of the hood) it wouldn't look too bad. Or maybe even if the nostrils were set back a bit on the head it would look better. It's just the sudden high raise that really makes it look out of place.

The ultra-z hood raises even more abruptly and closer to the front and people are constantly giving that hood props. I think it has more to do with the angle of the nostrils when youre looking down at the hood from in front of the car. They dont follow any other line.

Yea but the height of the scoop on the Ultra-Z hood gradually decreases as it moves toward the back of the hood. That at least shows some smooth lines, not just two big bumps on a hood.

My hood is like an Ultra Z, but it is split down the scoop. I guess in that respect it's like a Pontiac hood, but I think it works on a Camaro. The angle follows the front of car, and I think the cowl looks perfect. I like it. My homepage is my cardomain page if you want to see pics.

One of my buddies is putting one of those on his '91 Camaro. I told him to get the SS style hood, but he says that the WS6 style looks meaner. I say it doesn't look right on a Camaro.
