I'm glad to hear that, I think it looks like crap. I have an idea, how about all us pontiac owners buy a SS hood and mount it up, oh wait it WOULDN'T MATCH THE LINES!

I know what you guys are saying. However I really think with proper vinyl accents, it could look quite inplace on a camaro. For instance racing strips might tie it togather enough to look correct. Or perhaps the ram-air side decals might work. However, just plain one color does seem a bit off. Just look how the hood looks more in place in that second picture with the hockey stripes. If it had matching ram air stripes, it could look pretty bad ***. But of course its not for everyone. Im going to go mount a second spoiler to my z now.... maybe get some of those blinking valve caps. Anyone know how to write camaro in chineese?

If the rise was lower (and possibly gradually raised toward the back of the hood) it wouldn't look too bad. Or maybe even if the nostrils were set back a bit on the head it would look better. It's just the sudden high raise that really makes it look out of place.

My hood is like an Ultra Z, but it is split down the scoop. I guess in that respect it's like a Pontiac hood, but I think it works on a Camaro. The angle follows the front of car, and I think the cowl looks perfect. I like it. My homepage is my cardomain page if you want to see pics.
