I have some light scratches on my black SS. I have tried 3M swirl remover and 3M fine cut. Neither will get them out. You can feel them with your fingernail, but just BARELY.

Should I go to 39001, Menzerna or take it somewhere?

thanks
dave

What are you using to try and take these off? I've used 3M fine cut and took out scratches that you can barely feel with your finger nail with the porter cable...

I just ordered some LC pads. Maybe these will be better than the one that came with the PC. I am using 39002 3M Fine Cut.

I did notice, after posting, that if I bump the PC up to 6 and put more force into it, they started to come out. Boy this is going to be work...

btw, the scratches came from the California Blade. I am usually very careful. But, I was in a hurry and I guess something was on it. Now I have these light scratches all over. (yea, I'm an idiot)

Ya that pad that comes with the PC is pretty much crap. You'll be happy with the LC pads.
