Default glasstek hood???

Im about to buy a glasstek camaro ss hood, its a pin on, does anyone have any bad experiences with this hood??? Also is it a bad idea to get a pin on hood instead of a bolt on this car is not a daily driver but it does get ran on the street alot. thanks.

It'd probably be ok on the street as long as you have someone to help lift it off when needed. But I've never ran a pin on hood, so someone else may have more info.

Just make sure strippers and hooter's girls don't jump onto your hood for pictures. Some of them think they are lighter than they really are.

I have the pin on SS hood on my car. No probs with it fits good and weighs 12-15lbs. I can put it on and take it off with out any help.

i dont know about pinons but i can vouch for glassteks quality...its great stuff

I realize there is no area for the latch with a pin on hood but cant you fab up a way to bolt the struts and brakets back on. My buddy has a pin on hood or latchless hood on his mustang but has it bolted to the struts and uses two pins up front
