airbags are ******* dangerous. if its your time to go that airbag aint ****.
I took apart over 30 LS1 cars, some looke like they went off a bridge, yes there were fatalities too. guess what? those ******* airbags were intact a whole lot of times. Ive sat in every parts car i took apart and im gonna tell you truth here. front impact isnt gonna get you, its the telly pole in the door bar....

on another note momo has a couple bitchin 4 spoke wheels that fit our cars perfect with a 92 adapter and look clean...

Hey jaljohn, yes I have with both motorcycles and cars and I donīt ignor the bag, but I think it has to be a special accident if the airbag (in steering wheel) will save your life. I also think the carmaker and government let people know when and how the air bag work or do the job. I also think it`s stupid to let new young drivers understand they can drive as fast they want
as long the LS1 car has a bag. Many of this boys still remember how it was to jump down in the ballbox at Mc Donalds and drive after that.
Accidents used to be bad to people, so drive careful and look foreward, at least 1 mile................

When my T/A got totalled I t-boned a truck right at his rear wheel doing about 40-45mph and I couldn't stop because the guy pullled out of a residential area when I was like 15 feet away from him. Needless to say my airbag deployed but it didn't even reach my face , because I was holding on to the steering wheel. I think my belt was more useful than the airbag was.

We all know where you stand and your first post was fine, but this is not an air bag debate it's a picture thread. I should have said this in my first post but I was trying to be polite.......

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Most people on this site don't even bother to read closely enough to what they are replying to and they say something that is WAY . Lets just get some pics here. Thats what the guy wanted. Keep this thread on topic or the mods will close it.

I wouldn't want a airbag going off and saving my life. If my airbag deployed, it had to have been a big crash. You think I'd want to see my car after that?

I took my airbags out as well. but i have a 6pt cage, harness. I was looking at this momo steering wheel by my house and its badass, too bad its $200 badass

ok,

Let's try getting this back on track. Here's my new steering wheel. It'll be going in when i install the 8-point cage later this winter. I love the "feel" of the suede wheel, as well as the flat bottom. I'm not installing swing outs, so it'll help.

I'm really happy for you, and for the life-saving experience you've had, but i'd take a 8-point cage, and a 5-point harrness with no airbag over stock seatbelts, no cage, and a airbag. now, BACK TOTHE TOPIC, if you dont like the thread DONT OPEN IT. this thread is NOT about airbags

3 pages of useless info and opinions. Only a few pics. And it's 6 months old.
