Mark did mine about 3 years ago.
Pictures do not do them justice.
Mark does nice work and is great to deal with.

I have some I got off ebay that have a waved checkered flag pattern. The guy who I got them from said they were for a T/A but they are actually for a Camaro, so none of the #s line up or anything. Like someone else said, at night I can't see ****. They look cool in the day though. There is some company that does make overlays that got to 200 mph, and i think they are now making a Z06 pattern. I know they have white and silver but they are also quite pricey. Around $100 if I remember correct. You can find them in Summit and Jegs catalogs.

I occaisionally get a request for these but lately most have backed out or I never hear from them again. Maybe because I need you to send me your entire cluster and the car can't be driven without it, I don't know...

I charge $130 to apply that pattern and the bowtie to your existing factory gauges. You have to get your own T/A bezel and if you can get a bezel beforehand, it's best to include it with the instrument cluster so I can use it to be sure the pattern lines up correctly. If anyone seriously wants them I'll be happy to do them for you. mark2000ss@comcast.net e-mail me for details.

Good luck. I don't think any exist for Camaros with italic fonts and the checkered pattern.

no the ones I have do not have the italic font either.See the problem is that unless you take the old guage face off the cluster (which by the way would be almost inpossible without messing something up) your italicized #s would not line up correctly for the lights to shine thru good enough for you to see at night. thats the problem I am having with the camaro overlays in my t/a. They have different fonts so the #s don't line up just right.
ls2_bait, the ones I was talking about are either from granatelli or LG. I don't remember which. If you are interested in a set like I have, I may have another set. I know my cousin bought some after seeing mine for his SS, but since his was a 99 and did not have the t/a style bezel around the guages, they would not stay flat on his and he took them back out. I will check to see if he still has them. Since you have a 99 also, you may encounter this same problem.

does anybody know if we can get the actual Z06 gage cluster (basically taking on out of a z06 and putting it into a camaro) to fit in the maros?????

That's what I was talking about when I was saying it was a pain in the *** to do, b/c I thought we were talking about the entire cluster being transferred. The pins aren't in the same configuration for our cars and there are obviously extras that you would have to rewire for the HUD, etc in the corvette. It's not worth the time or money. I think someone did do it though, don't remember who, but it ended up costing a lot more than expected.

As long as the gages work (ODO, MPH, TEMP, etc) I don't care if the extras work.

Well I believe it's an all or nothing deal on the connections in the back. You can't just connect some and not others.

I bought the trim bezel from ws6store about a month ago. I think they had like 3 left when I called. Good luck finding that part!
