Default z06 gauges in ss?

has anyone seen a z06 cluster in an ss?? i saw some guy said he had that with a ta bezel in his 99 and if they make them who sells them?? by z06 gauges im assuming he means the light checkered back ground and italic lettering??

I'm pretty sure that's a very in-depth process in terms of the wiring if I remember correctly and not worth the time and money that could be put towards mods.

so no one makes an overlay kit like this? i am definately partial to that design over the plain white or silver face.

I second that, i'd love to see a ZO6 gauge cluster overlay for our cars...would look awesome! They match the Auto MEter Cobolt Series perfectly.

there are some on ebay...but they dont let any light trough, so they worthless....they look ok tho

They are cheap, and made on a home computer. But I do know of a guy that made z06 style gauges, I just can't remeber who. You might try posting on camaroz28.com I think I remember seeing them there.

Having the actual corvette cluster would be way cooler. all the raised and recessed gauges would rule. Not to mention they are sooooo nice.

yea those...they look cool but u cant see sht at nite...i had those and white overlays....too thick so no light comes trough, at least on mine it didnt

The ones you see in that photo are factory gauges with the pattern applied to it so they light up perfectly. The problems you mention are typical of many of the aftermarket gauges.

i was browsing around and saw a guy on here called zero2sixty who said he had them but i didnt get to see any pics--i tried to pm him but he sold his car so dont know if hes still on here.
