I used etching primer, than primer/surfacer, and dupont chromabase and clear.

It's ALL in prep, and SANDING!! Get a good etching primer to bite down. I've got pics on my CarDomain Site, but I made a thread about 2-3 weeks ago with pics on here...

Sometimes we need a joedirt smiley lol... cuz the :joedirt: just wont work! Etching primer bites down into metal, mainly used on bare metal as I removed all the old material down to bare metal on my project, it adhere's more than a regular primer. No you wont be using a spray bomb can, you will need a actual Spray Gun, Compressor, etc...

Last I heard the paint in the engine bay is the same as used on any other part of the car, the only difference being that it doesn't have a clear coat to it at all.
