I read that post, and said WTF? Can't this guy read a sig? I love that color, almost as much as SOM, but it is by far my favorite. I was considering flames on my car painted with SOM

Looks good. I guess the only reason I haven't taken mine off yet is because I really feel that it leaves a big blank spot between the intakes behind the front wheels. The stock door molding trim really breaks them up and seperates them which (to me) justifies the 2 smaller gills rather than having 1 big one ie: similar to the C5's. When you take the trim off, there is no visual "line" to seperate them. Just looks like a big empty space between... I dunno, I forsee myself finally giving in and doing it eventually, but its gonna take a little more convincing for me to budge... $0.02

ChevyChad, with a car that looks as good as your, I think you would only intensify the beauty by removing them! I just believe they look out of place on our cars.I was the reason Shane took his off. He liked how mine looked and decided to dive in and do the deed. Personally, I believe it makes the area between the vents look better. I like the smoothed out look it gives the whole side of the car.

I agree it looks way better along the door with them off. But on the door, there is a line where it breaks up the door without the molding. I just wish that line were longer and continued further up front between the vents.
