Default downpour minus the t-tops

well, it happened. it was a nice day today, sunny as all get out, and low and behold, a storm moved in while i was inside. and guess what. my t-tops were out. as soon as i heard thunder, i ran outside, and pulled it in the garage. I dont think it had been raining very long because the seats weren't holding puddles of water, although they got a pretty good soaking. I immediately dried everything off, and it looks fine but i was wondering if any of you knew if water will hurt leather interior. I'm pretty worried about it.

It shouldn't be too bad if you cleaned it up quickly enough. It'll just try up overnight

That sucks man. I think you'll be ok too.

If it makes you feel any better I had my t-tops off one day went outside and got in my car. And I saw something out of the corner of my eye on my door handle inside the car and I looked over and what was it? A bird took a huge **** and it landed in my car...that sucked.

Bah, you'll be all set. It's not real leather anyways, all GM "leather" is coated in urethane. Worst that can happen is that the water will sit in the seat foam, since the bottom of the seat is preforated.

Dry it out and you're good to go.

I had it happen to me as well... It looks worse than it is... I dried it up and never had a problem. Like he said, its coated leather, so its not as sensitive... You are fine.
