Does anyone have a shot of those (raptor) with the heat extractors on them and pricing? I was curious to see where they were and how much they "extracted". TIA Was that the SLP ram air H.O. that you paid for 799 shipped? Shipped and painted up? Definately have to factor in the prep, prime, and paint.

EDIT: Also, what's this WS9 hood look like?

My #1 favorite is the Mecham hood. Looks AWESOME! Really sells the "Batmobile" look of the TA. I would get one, but they're quite expensive and I hear they have fit and quality issues. Every one I've seen looks awesome, though.

Second choice is the Firehawk hood. Nice and clean!

Raptor or OEM WS6. WS6 just looks right but for an aftermarket look that flows a little better and is a little more understated the Raptor does wonders IMO.

My vote goes to the Mecham hood. From the front it looks like a Firehawk hood but then u see the big heat extractors and your jaw drops, atleast mine did. But i like my firehawk one, sleek and sexy compared to a WS6 hood.

Here's an album of pics of my old car with the Mecham hood. Quality sucked the big one - I'd stay away if I were you...
Webshots Album: 99 "Mecham" TA

Cost is about $960 plus shipping. Prep and paint will cost an arm and a leg though...
