Just try not to soak the wiring harness or the PCM. Also don't get corrosive cleaners in the fuse box. 
Cleaning engine and bay....
There is an excellent write up at the top of this page under a sticky called:
"Proper Cleaning of the LSX Engine Bay"
Follow that and you should be good. Important thing to remember is cover
your fuse boxes and PCM and use low pressure water.

I just finished doing mine with 50:50 mix of Simple Green. I can not believe how good it looks. Just bought car with 72K miles on it and everything under the hood was the same color, kind of gray. Now looks like new (well pretty damn good anyway). There's black stuff and shiny stuff now.
Simple Green is great as it is not caustic and will not discolor any materials, yet loosens dirt with a tenacity.
Sprayed it on a warm engine compartment, hosed it off. Repeat. Then took a wash cloth to the under hood and large areas.
I am proud to have someone look under the hood now.

Verdad Gallardo Definitely do NOT spray the PCM of fuse boxes. I cover them with plastic bags and seal with some tape. Once you do that, you can pretty much spray away. I also use Simple Green/water to get the initial dirt off and then use a spray on engine cleaner and then a product called CD-2 which puts a shine on everything.
