AWESOME. i had a few pm's back and forth with whistler about his. and he had a ttop car, and cut out the center piece, and then molded a custom piece or carbon fiber to fit on the ttops. then he secured the ttops to the cf piece and that was it, after touching it up.

Forget Whistler, he's too stingy with leaking information becuase I feel he don't want people to know so he can be more "rare" which is understandable, but go about it in a way that's respectable, not just ignoring people who ask for infomation. I'll be sure to help, or offer my services to people, anyhow I'll get you guys some finished, and primered pics of the top, and cage on Monday, if I can get the black, and clear down by then I'll get finished pics, but I atleast wanna get it primered, cuz as you could see it's soo damn humid, surface rust sucks! lol

No I didn't get bored lol, it was part of the plan all along...Anyways I am waiting on Carbon Fiber to show up, so I can wrap the top up...Pretty much all the cutting is done except for a fed fab cuts left, then just filler, and it's ready for primer...Things are taking a lil longer than I hoped for, because of me having to wrap up my Mens Softball LEague, Get things ready to head to Indy for school whithin a month, and I would like to get this, and all of the interior done, and in before that happens...Bare with me guys it's happening!!

Just wondering... How do you make a top for it? Will it be a glass one or a hardtop sort of panel for it?

You could get a form and send it off to get a glass panel made for it, but it would be around $2K probably, or you could use T-Tops and engineer a top, or you could make a hardtop style, which I will be doing so it don't stand out like ther other 2 would....

Once I get mine done, I would be willing to help or do it for others if they make it worth my time hehe....Wont leak actualy secrets though...

He is not stingy with info, he doesn't get online much due to the fact he is...going to school, starting up his business and finishing side jobs for a few people. FWIW, his car has been a driveway ornimant for about 2 years now. He really doesn't care about it, he doesn't want to be liable for anything that could go wrong by doing this to the car. Good luck, post pics when finished.

VSG maybe I jumped to conclusion, or maybe it's just me? Although I'm not talkin about recently I'm talkin over the past 3 years, he never responded to one post, PM, or email...

I am just sayin, I will be willing to help people with it...
