Here are some better pics of what we based the hood from. You'll see both versions of the hood, with and without the line. If anyone has some good photoshop skills, perhaps they can add the crease on the front of the hood to match the nose? (thanks!). Unfortunately at this time, because it is still a prototype, we are unable to actally snap some pics of the hood on a car (sorry)!

This one is the original hood
This has the hood line removed.

This one just extends the line down to the bumper.
This line is thin and matches the crease in the bumper.

The biggest difference between the Sunoco hood and the VFN hood is the angle of the sides (where the 427 C.I.). The Sunoco hood is more gradual of a slope/angle compared to the VFN version. It's especially noticeable on the back of the hood by the cowl.

Thanks for the photoshop work!
We asked the opinions of some of the guys here in our shop about which hood they liked better, including the guy who does most of the work on these projects.... The guys here like the first hood (pic #1), the other two with the line appear more like a traditional cowl hood - in which most guys have on their camaros already. The hood in picture #1 seems to stand apart from this and give it more of a unique look.
How about we take a poll? I believe this would probably be the most fair thing to do....or if someone is local, and wishes to stop by to check out the hood in person, please pm me and we can arrange for one or two guys to do this.
I recieved several pm's in regards to the gp on the sunoco hoods, and if we can include other hoods in the gp. We will be glad to do so - if a minimum of 10 members are interested in the gp, we can work out discounts on all of our hoods.
Thanks.
Jeanie
