anyone know how to remove a console?

Does anyone know hoe to remove a console on a 2002 trans am 6 speed? i gut the cup holder part off but cant get the main console...thanks!

I don't know if yours has it but I just did mine yesterday. There are 4 bolts in the armrest storage area. (2) 10mms and (2) 7 or 8mms. Also (1) 10mm at the front on each side by your feet. Did that make sense??

The e-brake needs to be nearly vertical. Then, after removing the 5 10mm bolts, pull the rear of the console up to around a 45* angle. Then slide it back and it should come out.
