Default Whats the best carwash soap ?

I know you are all going to say Zaino but thats not going to happen right now. So other than Zaino whats the best carwash soap to use I was using carwash 2001 or something like that and it worked alright but I'm sure there is something better. Preferably something I can pick up locally. I was thinking about that turtle wax ultra gloss or something like that

Meguiars Gold Class works very well, if you can keep the suds going. I have a bottle of Black Magic that someone gave me and I use it on the wheels and undercarriage, but I haven't had the nerve to try it on the rest of the car yet, since Meguiars has been doing well for me. You should be able to pick up Gold Class at Autozone/O'Reilly's.

The Black Magic stuff smells very sweet. Not sweet like "DUDE! SWEET!", but sweet like cherries.

I am using the Eagle 1 bucket free car wash. Just mist it over the wet panel you are washing, and then use your sponge or cloth or whatever. Takes very little to do the job, and keeps you from putting dirty water from your bucket back on the car. One bottle is supposed to do 60 cars. I've washed mine 3 times already with it, and you can't tell any has been used yet. Try it.

Eagle One Wet and Meguiar's NXT are both cheap, locally available, and work well.

Prior to using the Zaino car wash, Meguiar's Gold Class was what we used.

*My* overall favorite is Zaino Z7. My favorite OTC car wash is Meguiar's NXT.

Hell, I've been using DuPont #7 (chrome cardboard can) car wash soap as long as I've been washing cars and I watched my father use it since I was a wee lad...I've always had good results from it, it's inexpensive and very sudsy. I bought a bottle of Pinnacle Bodywork shampoo when I bought the pads/products for the Porter-Cable, but I haven't tried it out yet...

Tropicare here.
I was on gold class, but it wouldnt hold suds long enough.

Tropi-care just works. I tried not to get caught in the hype, but after trying it out, I love it.

Just buy a clear spray bottle and add your favorite car wash soap to it. Same thing. Cheaper that way too.

I used Turtle Wax Zipwax on my intrepid, loved that stuff...

Sence I got the Trans Am I tried out meguiars gold class and I haven't been happy, I keep getting water spots =/ I keep the car wet through the entire wash process and don't let the soap sit on it so I dunno. My meguiars is almost gone so I'm going to try the NXT next if that doesn't work, I'm gunna try the good ol Zipwax once.

Well I ended up buying one that noone mentioned. Its turtlewax premium ultra gloss. I think thats what its called. Its great stuff its very thick like thicker than dish soap. But it stays VERY sudsy washes like a dream and comes off even better. And once its dry... wow! It leaves such a nice gloss on the car. Maybe I was just using really crappy soap before but I like this stuff and will probably continue to use it until I can get me some Zaino
