Default !WIRE MOD... Before and After PICS

I finally got around to doing the wire mod. I used the tutorial in the sticky at the to of this index. I went ahead and used the 1-3/4" hole saw. I couldn't find a grommet that big so I used a 1-3/4" plastic computer desk grommet instead. It worked quite well. I epoxied it in. I was going to use the cap also, but it fell behind the PCM to be lost forever.

I tried the Velcro but it didnt work. The two sides wouldnt stick to each other. I went ahead and used a 1/4"-20 bolt that I put in the middle of the three holes. I then zip-tied the wire bundle to this bolt. I relocated my grounding spot to the metal thing in the front using a nice new grounding nut.

It definitly cleans up the engine bay nicely. I am going to have to clean up the rest now so it all looks good!!!

It ripped out his inner fender and tore all the wires? Must have been quite the blown tire.

Ya, i agree it definately looks really good. I just finished this mod on my car also.

I think you should take it the extra step, and polish all the ac stuff. I did mine with just some mothers polish and it made a world of difference. That stuff shines pretty good. I did the canister, and the lines etc.

!Wire mod was one of the best underhood mods i did on my car.

What Mothers product do I use? Do I use just a cloth to apply it?

Yup, i just used the mothers aluminum polish. ( little round tub ) Rub it on with a cloth, and wipe it off with a cloth.
