How to remove scratches off of TA tail lights?
I've got a few light scratches on my tail lights of my TA. What is the best method to removing the scratches without introducing more scratches?

Depending on how bad they are, you might be able to get away with a plastic polish like Meguiar's PlastX. If they are more severe than a polish can handle, you could use the same techniques that I used on my headlights. I posted a write-up that's stickied to the top of this forum: https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/157192-fixed-my-yellow-cracked-headlight-today-pics.html
Good luck!

Ah...thanks. I didn't realize that Meguiars makes a plastic polish....and I was just at the Autoparts store today! Doh!
It's not scratched bad at all. Just enough for me to notice.

Any regular 3M light duty or fine polishing compound works great, yes you can use 1000 or finer grit to sand out larger scratches. The polishing alone will take care of all but the most severe scratches.

I removed all mine and they look brand new. Get some 1500 grit sand paper and wet sand the scratches till there gone. Then go back and hit with a buffer and some fine grit rubbing compund and they look good as new. Hope this helps
