I started out with a polished grill but decided the black looks a little meaner:

question about the styrofoam: what did you guys do to it? removed? or what? if so. how? is there a proper technique?
Question bout fac. grill: i was snooping around behind it and the sides are easy to take off, but what about the plastic screws? would it be good for me to maybe hack saw it off? or should i just pull?

I bought mine used, but i guess its the grill from Stull. I actually repainted mine all black to see what it looked like, but I decided I liked the chrome look better, so I sanded the front to what it looks like now.
in the 2nd pic you can see the foam 99zee was talking about. That picture really shows whats behind the grill, normally you can really see that during the day. (ex. 1st pic)

supposedly there is a sensor in that foam somewhere. If it bothers you you could always paint it i suppose. I like the mesh accents over the holes.
