Hello, Im looking to purchase a new hood for my Pewter 02 TA. Has anyone had any experience with www.ramairhood.com or Suncoast Creations? Im concerned with quality/durability, and customer service. I know that the hoods will take some prep work, and will not be perfect. Im looking at the WS6 style hood from ramairhood.com, and the Raptor hood from Suncoast Creations. Anyone had any problems with their hoods coming apart? Also, is it worth buying the kit and getting the hood/airbox/filter, or should I just buy the hood and add something like a K&N fipk or airbox lid down the road. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Eric M.

i just bought a ws-6 hood from a place online called boa-fx and i am really pleased with it. of course i had to do some things to make it fit right but now it fits almost perfectly. it also has fuctional heat extractors in the back of the hood, unlike the factory ws-6 hoods.i am really happy with it, and it only ran me 460.00, not to bad of a price i thought. just thought you would like to know.

 

Thanks for the reply, Ill check it out. Ive had my TA since it was new, and am just now getting around to changing some things, so Im looking for any and all advice. Does anyone out there have the SLP Ram Air HO hood? How well does it work/fit??

 

I had a Slap Stick Creations (Sun Coast Creations) hood on my 97 TA actually several of them they kept falling apart nothing but issues so I went with ASCD on my 99 TA

I have the ramairhoods.com ws6 style on my car.I bought it new in the box from a local guy who was going another route.It fit near perfect with minimal prep.I sprayed it right in my garage.
