Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm sorry if any sponsors are offended by this. I really appreciate our sponsors and commend them for being so great to us members. The last thing I'd want to do is **** one off.
Brett- I did spray a layer of clear on these just for picture taking purposes and also to protect the paint for shipping, but the guy is supposed to put a few more layers of clear on to be able to cut & buff it for a glass like finish once he gets them back. I don't remember the name of the manufacturer of the gun I have, but it is a knockoff I can tell you that much. I think I only paid a little under $100 for it. I'll bring it by sometime if you want to look at it.
Z28-CTYHNTR- The paint did have a lot of orange peal in it when it was sent to me. Once I decided to do the letters I had to wet sand them to get the previous layer of clear off and that took out almost all of the "grains". It does indeed look a lot better now.
