apparently undercar lighting is rice now too. Even though hot rods, imports, domestics, and motorcycles have been using them for years. geesh...

Second, the way you said to wire it is correct. You do not need a fuse. These lights come with a little box wired in about 2/3 of the way down to the cigarette adapter. Leave that on, just cut off the cigarette adapter. The wires on these lights are also not marked + or neg
. I figured out that when you pull then apart at the end, the wire with the white stripe on it is the + one. Also, before you hook it up, make sure to have the switch inline with the + wire of your lights and you leave enough wire to play with. On the switch there should be a + in wire, + out wire, and a - wire. The + out wire (red) should go to the + on traction control. The + in wire (white) should go to the lights. The black wire can be wired to any negative wire. I also should say I didn't have to solder anything. Just twisted the wires together and used some electrical tape.
