window tint
it's the whole windshield. only a few shops will do it on an f-body. the angle makes it very hard. it's veerry subtle and not as bad as it sounds. it's like drving with sunglasses but...without sunglasses. the owner's girl had a black cobra with 20% on the windshield and 4% all around!
I have a 5% limo all the way around, usually have my windows up and don't have any problems. I don't believe you can be pulled over for the just the tint, but if you are pulled over for something else then you may have a problem. I live in FL don't know if the law is different here??

I went with 5% all around. Yeah I was told by the installer that i was illegal and I said **** it do it anyways. About 2 months later a CHP pulls me over and tickets me for the tint =(. Luckily I lucked out and found a cop that once pulled me over a few years back for underage driving. Real nice guy, writes me off and everything. I walk out of the courtroom with just a $10 payment. =)
I was told that the reason why cops are so strict on tints, is that suspects could be doing something potentially dangerous behind their tint. For instance, the cop would walk up to the car and tap on the window, but the guy maybe be holding a gun aimed for the cops chest. I dont know, thats a bit extreme but some people are just stupid and do that ****.
Do it all the way around man, you'll love it. As for darkness, yeah the rear is a bit hard to see, but you'll be used to it. As for the side.. just roll them down when you cant see well.

I wouldn't go any darker than 20%. I have 35% myself, but a couple of my friends have 20% and the cops leave them alone. Any darker than 20% and you'll have some real trouble seeing out. Try backing down a steep, winding, dark driveway with 5%. Its impossible and you have to stick your head out the window.
